I am senior lecturer political theory at Amsterdam University College and research fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research. My main research and teaching interests are in classical and medieval political philosophy and ethics, and education.
I am actively engaged in promoting liberal education and serve as a board member to the Association for Core Texts and Courses and as a founding and board member to the University Colleges Academics Network Netherlands. I write a blog on education here.
